The Cabin is primarily a place for young people’s activities, and is overseen by volunteers. We appreciate your support in maintaining a place that hirers are able to take advantage of at an affordable rate; this means we ask you to follow the expectations below.

• The Cabin must be left fit and ready for the next group using it. Failure to comply will result in forfeit of the deposit and a refusal of future booking requests.
• Times booked are your arrival and departure, please do not expect to be able to arrive earlier or later. Please ensure that there is enough time post event to clear up.
• There is to be no smoking in the building or around the grounds.
• The area in front of the minibus enclosure and in front of the shutter door are to be kept clear of parked cars.
• There is to be no alcohol consumed on site without express permission from the
  Executive Committee.
• Tables and chairs are in the double doored cupboard in the main hall. Please use them, but do not sit on the tables or work surfaces.
• During the spring and summer terms outside spaces can be used. Please leave them clear of rubbish. No glass should be taken outside.
• Tables and chairs should be clean and put away.
• The floors should be swept. (Brooms, dustpans and brushes are in the cleaning cupboard adjacent to the toilets.
• Spills should be mopped up with clean water only. The mop is in the kitchen.
• All rubbish should be removed from site and not placed in our bins.
• Crockery and cutlery should be washed, dried and put away.
• Work surfaces, trays, cooker and floors should be left clean after use.
• All lights should be switched off before leaving (please don’t forget the toilets).
• Please check all doors and windows are secured, including toilets; even if you didn’t open them, someone else may have!
• Please close the gates around and to the car park when you leave.
• Damage not caused because of fair wear and tear must be paid for.
